Kukui Corporation and the Automotive Training Institute (ATI) announced a partnership to host their first virtual event, the 2020 Virtual Conference, April 30 and May 1. Entirely online, the event will be delivered free of charge through ZOOM.
Ratchet+Wrench also will serve as the event’s official media partner.
The goal of the event is to provide a channel for business owners in the automotive repair industry to come together and learn from industry experts, as well as each other, about how to succeed during these unprecedented times. Registration and information is available at kukuiworld.com.
Over two days, participants will be able to participate in a full agenda of educational sessions, starting each day with a “Town Hall” roundtable discussion with shop owners, followed by two separate tracks of 30-minute presentations interspersed with 15-minute break out sessions in which participants can share their successes or just meet and greet with each other “coffee-break” style.
Both days end with a “lessons learned” session for goal setting and idea-sharing.
“This virtual sharing style is something we are already quite comfortable with as we have been running a very successful webinar program for two years,” Jimmy Lea of Kukui said. “But, being able to team up with ATI is what really makes it a worthwhile experience for all involved. The deep knowledge base from which the ATI coaches can draw on along with their expertise in running SuperConference each year is more than a double play. It’s a Grand Slam. We are so grateful to be able to provide this service to shop owners everywhere.”
According to Richard Menneg, President of ATI, “With the current state of the economy and the heavy impact on our industry many are playing the “what if” game daily. But, we’ve identified a key characteristic among top shop owners. They have recognized the best use of their time is to focus on doing the right things right now. This online conference will enable us to provide the best and most current information available to shop owners around the world, whether they are ATI members or not.”
“We are also honored that Ratchet+Wrench Magazine has joined us as our exclusive media partner,” said Patrick Egan, VP Marketing at Kukui. “The entire 10 Missions team shares the mission of service in helping shop owners succeed to which both ATI and Kukui subscribe.”
