Meet Our Leadership

Chris "Chubby" Frederick, ATI CEO

Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Chris “Chubby” Frederick founded ATI in 1980, and under his leadership, it grew to the size it is today. In addition to advancing ATI, some of his noteworthy accomplishments include being listed among the Top 100 CEOs by Smart 100 magazine, receiving a Frost and Sullivan Customer Value Leadership Award, and receiving an AMi Recognition Award.  Chubby is highly regarded as a thought-leader in the automotive industry and is an avid speaker and writer. He currently writes a monthly column in Motor Age Magazine.

Richard Menneg, President of ATI


Richard has over 35 years of sales, marketing, and senior management experience. He spent the past twenty years in the automotive aftermarket in executive officer positions at Allen Test Products, Southern Automotive Test, Inc., R.O. Writer and Midas International – prior to ATI.  Richard strongly believes in client service that exceeds expectations delivered by a passionate, talented and dedicated organization. He ensures that this formula for success is lived out every day at ATI.

Ron Greenman, CFO of ATI

Chief Financial Officer

Ron joined ATI in November 2016 as the Company’s first full-time CFO. He brings nearly 30 years of accounting and finance experience gained in a myriad of positions throughout his career at both public and private companies. Ron received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from St. Bonaventure University and his CPA certification from the State of New York. For seven years prior to joining ATI, Ron managed his own CFO consulting services business providing CFO and controller level support to small and mid-sized companies experiencing high growth.

Chris Frederick Jr, SVP of ATI

Sr. Vice President

Chris was exposed to the auto industry early in life, through his father. He began working with ATI in 1999.  His strengths include sales, accounting, finance, management and leadership, and his efforts played an instrumental role in the creation and livelihood of ATI. Chris has held almost every position at ATI and currently oversees many of the sales channels. He started the mid-Atlantic sales division and now helps with speaker development and new business development.  Chris has a master’s in Business Administration from George Washington University.

Karen Dee, SVP of ATI

Sr. Vice President

Karen is a true ATI “lifer.” She joined the company in 1989 and helped it grow to where it is today. She began in outside sales, helping technicians get involved with ATI. As the company grew, so did Karen’s contributions – such as helping develop the first management training content. She currently wears multiple hats, including workshop coordination, SuperConference production and management, corporate travel, human resources and payroll.

Bryan Stasch, VP of Coaching for ATI

Vice President of Client Fulfillment

Bryan Stasch began in the auto industry in 1984 as a technician before becoming general manager at a national franchise store, and the eventually sharing ownership of three successful auto repair shops. In 2000, he joined ATI as chief instructor and became deeply involved in developing and presenting all aspects of the ATI’s coaching and training programs. In 2006, he became head of ATI’s member fulfillment department, overseeing all ATI coaches and related administrative staff.

Joe Hemberger, VP of ATI

Vice President

Joe began working in the automotive industry in 1982. Before he could even drive a car, he started washing them at a VW, Audi and Porsche dealership. Since that time, he’s held many positions – from technician to service advisor, aftermarket as a store manager to district manager – and now Vice President at ATI. During Joe’s career at ATI, he has helped grow the national team, develop new sales techniques and acquire new markets. Joe’s passion is educating consumers, as well as helping shop owners, managers, and automotive technicians achieve their goals.

Garry Masters, VP of IT at ATI

Vice President of Information Technology

Garry joined ATI in 2011 after years of providing trusted technology consulting services to the company. His experience in I.T. and Communications came from a 25-year career in the industry including 17 with AT&T and many years working with the top computing and networking vendors. Garry’s background in designing, selling, implementing, and supporting major systems and networks, as well as running an independent technology consulting company, has served ATI well and helped the company move forward significantly in many of these areas to deliver improved service to our associates and client members.
