Meet the Coaches
BOB BITTNER

I wish every shop owner knew what do I wish every shop owner knew? How to maximize every opportunity at the shop and complete the repair process as efficiently as possible!

I wish every shop owner knew that it is ok to fail from time to time as long as we leran from it and move on. “Failure is not Fatal But Failure To Change Might Be”

I wish every shop owner knew that they are capable of much more than they realize and can have the business of their dreams. The only thing in their way is them.

I wish every shop owner knew is that standing up for themselves and their business is a necessity, not an option. We don’t live in an era where outdated strategies can be tolerated any longer.

What drives me to coach shop owners is I love helping people and I love this industry. This is what drives me to coach every owner I can. Gratifying moments like, “I paid myself my first paycheck ever” and “wait until I tell you what I did”, remind me that my work truly matters.

What drives me to coach shop owners is watching my shop owners transform. Helping them move from wearing every hat, to service manager, then store manager, president culminating into becoming CEO.

What drives me to coach is that I love helping people. The moment that made me realize this work matters is feeling the benefits of coaching myself. During my auto body shop career, I got to experience working with coaches from insurance companies and other arenas.

What drives me to coach shop owners is I would rather see other people enjoy themselves rather than myself. I knew this work matters when a shop owner told me he was writing a check to himself for a significant amount of money. Each year he tell me he does this and it increases each year.

I wish every shop owner knew the importance of getting out of their comfort zone and working on their business, not in it; and of providing the highest level of customer experience, every single time, as a key driver of success and loyalty.

What drives me to coach shop owners is knowing I am helping and owner and a shop. I am helping them to stop the struggle and suffering for them their team and provide great service to their customers.

I wish every shop owner knew how to truly leverage their data. Understanding key metrics—from technician productivity to customer retention—is the difference between a struggling shop and a thriving one. Learning to read your numbers is the key to unlocking consistent profitability

What drives me to coach is that changing lives is an indescribable feeling for me, knowing that I can help someone achieve their goals and desires of their heart will always me enough for me. I live for an aha moment, so the teacher in me was thrilled when I first saw the lightbulb go off for a member.
The moment that made me realize this work matters is when I was coaching someone who thought they were doing well because they had money in their pocket, but had no idea what was being left on the table. When their eyes lit up at their own potential, I knew it was game on.

What drives me to coach shop owners is because I have always enjoyed helping & teaching others. The moment I knew it matters was when a member told me that because of me and ATI, they the finally were able to take their first paycheck in two years.

What I wish every shop owner knew is just how important first impressions are. It is very hard to overcome a bad first impression. So, how is the phone being answered, does our “contact us” link on the web site go to a monitored email, what does the front of the shop look like, what does the lobby look like? If all of those are not customer friendly, neat and organized then our ability to properly repair their vehicle will be in question.

I wish every shop owner knew that true value and rewards that can be achieved if they embrace the ATI program and make time to participate.

I wish every shop owner knew how important good leadership is to the success of their business.

I wish every shop owner knew the 1% of individuals at the top of their fields all have a coach, even if they are already great. Motivation is the catalyst to change, but discipline is how the change will happen.

I wish every shop owner knew that chaos isn’t part of the job-and you don’t have to do it alone. With the right systems and support, your team can step up, your shop will run smoother. You can finally charge what your work is worth without guilt.

What drives me to coach shop owners is that no one builds a top-tire business in a vacuum. The smartest shop owners surround themselves with coaches, mentors and peers who challenge their thinking, offer best practices and hold them accountable.

I wish every shop owner knew there is a better way available. That way is through ATI. In don’t want Owners to feel alone with no help and/or guidance. I need them to know someone actually wants to see them thrive in success and not failure. I believe most people believe others don’t care and, in some cases, actually hope for failure on the part of other Owners.

What drives me to coach shop owners is the belief that shop owners deserve more than survival. The first time I heard an owner say they never take vacations I’m missing my kids growing up and question why I’m still doing this.

I wish that every shop owner knew that they are not alone in their struggles with running their shops. As a former MSO, I myself as well as other shops that I have coached have faced similar challenges and were able to overcome them. There are tools & processes available to help them with every aspect of their business.

What drives me to coach shop owners is I have a passion for teaching and helping others. I realized that this work really matters when I saw the raw emotion after helping a client achieving a milestone goals

I wish every shop owner knew the fact that there is always someone in a worst situation with bigger obtsacles then them who is getting better results.

What drives me to coach shop owners is when a member tells me that I was able to do all this with my help.

What drives me to coach shop owners is the belief that we all need assistance in achieving our goals and our dreams. I have fantastic mentors in my life that aid me in my own personal and business growth and development that I felt a passion and desire to want to do the same for.

What drives me to coach shop owners is this industry is full of the hardest-working people I’ve ever met- quiet giants who fix problems no one else sees. But they rarely get the support they deserve. I coach because I believe in lifting up the underdog. I’ll never forget the first time a client told me they made it home for dinner five nights in a row for the first time in years. That’s when I knew : this work isn’t just about fixing businesses- it’s about helping people reclaim their lives.
